Food, Inflammation, and Autism: Is There a Link?
Any person browsing through the job listing classifieds in recent years may have noticed a marked increased in positions related to working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), a pervasive developmental disorder characterized by impairments in communication and social interactions, restricted interests, and repetitive behaviors. Autism Spectrum Disorder is reported by the CDC to affect approximately 1 in 88 children, a shocking statistic that has increased in recent years.
